Plastic rehab
We checked ourselves in to rehab for our plastic abuse and said our forever goodbyes to unnecessary plastic.
Respecting Mother Earth as well as human beings is in our DNA. That’s why we’re always pushing ourselves to go easy on the planet - and we want you to join us! Green Rehab is our way of sharing all the good things we do, but also an opportunity for us to learn even more from our guests. So get yourself checked in - sharing is caring!

We aim to reduce water consumption to lower the need for energy for heating and lower the need for chemicals for water purification.
We only clean the rooms every 4th day during our guests stay and the goal is to reduce the daily use of chemicals in all hotels.
Each coffee bean served at our hotels is organic and Fair Trade labeled, a label that ensures fair conditions for farmers that produce the coffee.
Our goal for 2023 is to have a recycling rate of 99% of all waste. It's a tough goal, but we are sure we can achieve it and hope that you’ll help us along the way.
Here at Comfort Hotel, we keep the breakfast simple, healthy and easy on the planet.
Make recycling fun! Buy white bins at IKEA, and decorate them however you want. Use paint, glitter, or whatever decorations you want to make them unique and easy to distinguish between. It is much easier to recycle if you have the right equipment :)
I usually think about all the generations who are going to live on this planet after us! Then, it's easy to make good choices for the environment. And: Everything everyone does matters, every time!
Connect the spinning bikes in the gym to generators so they contribute to the hotel’s energy supply.
Bring your water bottle when travelling, and refill water instead of buying water. The same goes for coffee, bring your own cup.
Try to reuse as much as you can when possible and buy things in bulk! I have a habit of saving glass jars and bottles. I use them to store homemade pickles and sauces. They look pretty too! Bonus!
Take showers together to save water!
Consume less and re-use! Maybe the winter jacket from last year is good for another year and maybe the coffee cups you’ve had three years work for three more, and if you want to get something "new" - buy second hand or arrange a fun exchange meet up with your friends.

My best environmental-friendly tip is to do food shopping as few times as possible per week and make a shopping list so you only buy the groceries that you need. Also bring a tote bag or plastic bags you have lying around, plastic is meant to last, not for one-time use :)
I always keep a pair of paper/wood cutlery in my backpack. You never know when you need to grab a meal on the run, and I would absolutely hate to buy or use the plastic ones that are usually offered in shops.
Never throw away food! Use your leftovers in an #onepotstew and invite some friends over to join you.
